Fireworks in Mitoyo

 Last night there was a fireworks display here in Mitoyo, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan.

I don't know what the celebration was for but it was a perfect excuse to practice taking photos of fireworks. Here are a few photos from last night.

I've found that fireworks displays here in Japan seem to be around 30 minutes each time.  In Australia, they usually only last around 15 minutes.  

I really need to practice shooting fireworks.  I found myself too late to press the shutter on many occasions and just not having the camera pointing the right way a lot of the other times. There's a skill to capturing these which I clearly lack at the moment!
